Hi Jim, the Enoch Pearson your ancestor was born per Quaker records in 1690 and married “Mary Smith” not Margaret Smith. There was an Enoch Pearson and Margaret Smith couple but they are an Uncle and Aunt to you, not your direct ancestors. Enoch who married Margaret was a son of Edward, brother of your Enoch’s father Thomas Pearson husband of Margery Smith. There’s more I can share if interested. Been researching this line since the 1970s. We are closely related and I’d love to be in touch.
